Light reading. Uhhh... yuhhh. I've learned a few things from it, after spending like a week on one paragraph. |

Okay, all done reading. Made perfect sense to me. I should be hammering out perfect guitars in just a few short weeks! ![]() That was so far over my head that I never even felt my hair ruffle when it went by! |

Well, to make a guitar, I have never heard a better explanation than that from Kent Everett - "you start with a bunch of pieces of wood, and just keep sanding til it looks like a guitar " ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'm afriad I'll be an old man with white hair by the time I finish reading this. Ya know, I'm from the south and people talk slower down here than most places. Wish they had typed slower so I could understand. |

Interesting stuff John. Over here the guys at the University of Loughborough did some interesting work on what makes a guitar tick. They came up with probably the best sounding guitar I have ever played. I'm afraid it was thier all polymer guitar, not a scrap of wood in it! They never did manage to take it commercially to the next stage, but the original instruments were outstanding. Loughborough guitar Colin |

Well, you could always just look at the pictures. Some of them are pretty interesting. Seriously, though, once you get past the academic presentation, there's some interesting info in there. Thanks for sending it our way, John. Colin, the polymer guitars are amazing. |

That's a good book, and hard to beat at the price. I'd really recommend that folks download it and work at it for a while; once you get the concepts it's not too bad. |

WOW I love the sound of the polymer guitars. Wish they had more sound clips and movies of the guitars. |
